Aoyama Farmers Market

This organic farmer’s market takes place in front of the United Nations University in Aoyama every Saturday and Sunday. There are about 50 stalls with local producers selling fresh fruit, vegetables, and flowers.
10:00-16:00 every Saturday and Sunday. The market is also held on public holidays.

Commune

This L-shaped area of shacks, caravans, food stalls, craft beer, and good coffee was originally set up as a temporary venue under the name Commune 246. It’s a fantastic little “for the community” venue that recreates something of an East London feel. A great place for a beer when the weather is good.

Nezu Museum

Museum displaying Japanese and East Asian antique art from the collection of its founder, Nezu Kaichiro. One of the main attractions is the Japanese garden with its stone-paved paths and tea house.
10:00-17:00 (until 20:00 on Fridays). Closed on Mondays unless it is a public holiday.
Special exhibition: Adults ¥1,300, students ¥1,000. Museum collection exhibition: Adults ¥1,100, students ¥800.

Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum

This museum is the former home and studio of Okamoto Taro (1911-1996) whose surreal style was heavily influenced by his ten years in Paris during the 1930s.
10:00-18:00. Closed on Tuesdays unless it is a national holiday.
