The annual Roppongi Hills bon odori brings a vibrant touch of traditional summer culture to one of Tokyo’s most modern entertainment districts. A classic yagura (wooden dance stage) is erected directly in the center of the futuristic Roppongi Hills Arena, creating a striking visual contrast. Surrounding the stage, attendees will find an excellent selection of premium food booths operated by the complex’s renowned restaurants.
The food stalls are open daily from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, while the energetic communal dancing takes place strictly over the weekend between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. This lively event is completely free to join.
