Showa Kinen Park Cosmos Festival

Spanning over 20,000 square meters of expansive fields, the Showa Kinen Park Cosmos Festival is one of the largest and most impressive autumn flower events in the Tokyo area. The true draw is the sheer volume and variety—approximately 6 million cosmos flowers blanket the park’s famous Flower Hill and surrounding meadows. Because the park cultivates over 30 different species of cosmos, each with its own unique blossoming period and vibrant color palette, visitors are treated to a continuously changing landscape. Given the park’s massive size, renting a bicycle at the entrance is highly recommended to comfortably explore the different floral zones.
